#45 RENEWER

"Have you not known?  Have you not heard?  The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable.  He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.   Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall RENEW their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."  Isaiah 40:28-31

"Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.  For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need."  Hebrews 4:14-16

 DEFINITION OF RENEWER 

: to make something new, fresh, or strong again : to begin something again especially with more force or enthusiasm :  to make like new  :  to make new spiritually :  regenerate

Jesus, You are the RENEWER!  Your understanding is unsearchable! You sympathize with my weaknesses, and You ask me to draw near with confidence in order to receive mercy and grace!  You tell me to wait on You in order to receive strength and the ability to endure!  Jesus, You are the One who RENEWS!  You not only RENEW my strength, but You are the One who RENEWS my life!  You "passed through the heavens" in order to give Your life for mine!  Jesus, I worship You as the RENEWER!
