#19 - DELIVERER

"Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might DELIVER us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forevermore.  Amen."  Gal. 1:3-5

Jesus, You are my DELIVERER!  You are the One who rescues and releases me from this broken world  - now and forever!  Jesus, You gave Yourself for my sins - You chose to come to earth to give Yourself for me so that I might be DELIVERED from this present evil age to Your kingdom.  Jesus, I want to be moved by what You have done for me - I have heard it so often that I can become hardened to the truth that You have DELIVERED me from this present evil age.  When I think of what You have done, I am amazed.  Like a fireman rushing in to DELIVER someone from the flame into safety...but losing his life in the process.  You DELIVERED me - but it was at great cost to You.  You suffered and were crucified for me - You gave Your life for me.      Jesus, I thank You for the truth of Your Gospel - that I can be DELIVERED from this evil age and  live in forgiveness with You forever and ever and ever and ever.  I am amazed by You!  I worship You Jesus!!
