#51  INTERCESSOR

"because He poured out His soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet He bore the sin of many and makes INTERCESSION for the transgressors."  Isaiah 53:12

"For I tell you, that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, "And He was numbered with transgressors"; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment."  Luke 22:37

"And two others also, who were criminals, were being led away to be put to death with Him.  And when they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.  And one of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying "Are You not the Christ?  Save Yourself and us!"  But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?  And we indeed justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong."  And he was saying "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!"  And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."  Luke 23:32-43  

DEFINITION OF INTERCESSOR

:  to intervene between parties with a view to reconciling differences :  mediate

Jesus, You were the INTERCESSOR for transgressors.  You were the One Isaiah was pointing to as the Savior who would pay for the sins of the world!  You offered forgiveness to the criminals who were being crucified with You.  You bore their sins also and interceded for them!  Oh Jesus, You even forgave as You were hanging on the cross!!  Oh Jesus, You are MORE than I can comprehend.  I worship You my Jesus - You were numbered with transgressors to offer forgiveness and everlasting life!!!  You truly are the Savior of the World!!

Worship and praise Him today - our INTERCESSOR!
