#68 SUPERIOR

"Having become as much SUPERIOR to angels as the name He has inherited is more excellent than theirs.  For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son, today I have begotten You?" Hebrews 1:4

"Therefore, God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the NAME THAT IS ABOVE EVERY NAME, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:11

DEFINITION OF SUPERIOR

:  situated higher up :  of higher rank, quality, or importance  :  excellent

SYNONYMS

 excellent, distinguished, unrivaled, first-rate, matchless. 

Jesus, You are SUPERIOR! Your name is ABOVE EVERY NAME in heaven, on earth and under the earth!  You are SUPERIOR to every thing that exists!  One day every knee will bow before You, Jesus!  You are higher than any created thing - You are more excellent, unrivaled, matchless!  And yet, You who are SUPERIOR, care about every detail of my life!  You tell me that the hairs on my head are numbered!  (Matthew 10:30) How can this be?  You know me intimately!!  I want to be captivated by who You are, Jesus - not the things or people of this world!  The things that distract me in this world cannot even compare to who You are!  Oh Jesus, open my eyes to see that You are SUPERIOR and Your name is above every name!!!

Worship and praise Jesus - the One who is SUPERIOR!
