"And for this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, in order that since a death has taken place for the REDEMPTION of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance."  Hebrews 9:15

"Looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might REDEEM us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds."  Titus 2:13-14

DEFINITION OF REDEEM

 :  to buy back :  repurchase  :  to get or win back :  to free from what distresses or harms:   to free from captivity by payment of ransom  :  to release from blame or debt :  clear  :  to free from consequences of sin 

Jesus, You are my REDEEMER!  You gave Your life to win me back!  You freed me from captivity by payment of the ransom of Your life!  You have released me from blame, debt and shame because You paid for my sin!  You have freed me from the eternal consequences of my sin because You paid my debt!  Jesus, this is more than I can fully comprehend!  I bow before You Jesus - in gratefulness for what You have done for me!!!  You are my REDEEMER!!

Worship and praise Jesus today - He is our REDEEMER!
