#36  HOPE OF GLORY

"the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to His saints.  To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the HOPE OF GLORY."   Colossians 1:26-28

: worshipful praise, honor, and thanksgiving :  a distinguished quality or asset :  great beauty and splendor :  magnificence

Jesus, You are the HOPE OF GLORY!  Trust, reliance, expectation and belief in fulfillment of Your great beauty,  splendor and magnificence.  Christ in me, the HOPE OF GLORY!  The ESV Study Bible says "God Himself, in the person of Christ, will be directly and personally present in the lives of His people, and His presence assures them of a future life with Him when He returns."  Jesus, the mystery that God chose to make known is that You live directly and personally in me and those who believe in You - and that we are assured of a future life with You.  Thank You Jesus, this is a mystery that people waited to know for generations - and You have revealed it to us now through Jesus.  This is not a truth to be taken lightly - You live in me and I can be assured of a future life with You!!  I worship You with a thankful heart as the HOPE OF GLORY!!
