#43 JESUS - "And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bear a son, and you shall name Him JESUS. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and His kingdom will have no end." Luke 1:30-33
"Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME, that at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Phil. 2:9-11
Definition of JESUS

JESUS - THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES!! I stand in awe of You, JESUS! The angel says You will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High! You will be given the throne of Your father David and You will reign over the house of Jacob FOREVER and Your kingdom WILL HAVE NO END!! You are not just a human being - You are a supernatural, eternal being who was being born as a man. You are the only One who is worthy to be called the Son of the Most High. Your name says that You are our Savior - You don't just point to the way of salvation - You ARE salvation. You provided salvation for me through Your life and death and resurrection. You are highly exalted and given the name which is above every other name! When I hear someone use Your name, JESUS - it has POWER like no other name! Your name cannot be used without it being recognized - it is the NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES! One day EVERY KNEE WILL BOW - those in heaven and on earth and under the earth - and every tongue will confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD!! JESUS, I bow my knee to You today in surrender and worship. JESUS, give me a glimpse of Your glory and Your majesty!! You are JESUS - the NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES!
