#52 LIVING WATER

JESUS

#52  LIVING WATER - JOHN 4:7-14  "A woman from Samaria came to draw water.   Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink." (For His disciples had gone away in to the city to buy food.)  The Samaritan woman said to Him, "How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)  Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, "Give me a drink," you would have asked Him, and He would have given you LIVING WATER."  The woman said to him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw water with, and the well is deep.  Where do you get that LIVING WATER?... Jesus said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again.  The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."  The woman said to Him "Sir, give me this WATER, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water."  John 4:7-15

Jesus, You are LIVING WATER!!   You are the WATER that is full of life, active and alive in my life!   I cannot live without WATER - and You are the WATER that completely satisfies!    Jesus, You came to this earth, died on the cross and rose again to provide a salvation that would satisfy forever!   You are the only One who can satisfy my deep spiritual longing.   You are the only One who can meet my deepest needs forever.    Jesus, You knew that the woman at the well had needs that were not being satisfied - that could never be satisfied by relationships on this earth.  She had needs that only You can fill.    Jesus thank You for also knowing my need - and knowing that I look for relationships on this earth to meet the needs that only You can fill.  Thank You for being the LIVING WATER that causes me to never thirst again and that gives me eternal life! Thank You Jesus for loving me so much that You would come to this earth to provide LIVING WATER to satisfy my true need!  I worship You - my LIVING WATER!!
