JESUS

#62  MESSIAH -  "The woman said to Him, "I know that MESSIAH is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us."  Jesus said to her, "I WHO SPEAK TO YOU AM HE."  John 4:25-26 

Full Definition of MESSIAH

: anointed  :  the expected king and deliverer of the Jews : a person who is expected to save people from a very bad situation    :  Jesus

Jesus, You are the MESSIAH!  You are the One they were looking for to rescue them and set up an earthly kingdom.  Jesus, You told the woman at the well that You were the Messiah.   You were the MESSIAH she was looking for  - and she went back and told everyone in her city that You were the Christ, the MESSIAH.  But You did not set up an earthly  kingdom like they were expecting.  You had a much bigger plan - to save us from our sins and to provide a way for us to live with you for all eternity!  Your plans are so much greater than we could have ever imagined!  Jesus, there are times when You don't do what I am expecting.  I feel disappointed and discouraged.  But You have a much bigger plan - one that I cannot yet see.  Your ways are so much higher than mine and You can see what I cannot - "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth; so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts."  Is. 55:8-9    Jesus, I want to trust You - You are the MESSIAH - the Anointed One!  You came to earth to make a way for me to spend eternity with You!  Your ways are higher than anything I can imagine!!  I worship You - the MESSIAH!!
