#61  MERCIFUL  "Therefore He had to be made like His brothers in every respect, so that He might become a MERCIFUL and faithful High Priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.   For because He Himself has suffered when tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted."  Hebrews 2:17-18

"And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, and saying "Have MERCY on us, Son of David!"  And after He had come into the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?"  They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."  Then He touched their eyes, saying, "Be it done to you according to your faith."  And their eyes were opened."  Matt. 9:27-29
