DAY #10 - BRIDEGROOM

JESUS

DAY #10 - BRIDEGROOM

"You yourselves bear  me witness, that I said, "I am not the Christ, but I have been sent before him.  The one who has the bride is the BRIDEGROOM.  The friend of the BRIDEGROOM, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the BRIDEGROOM's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete.  He must increase, but I must decrease."  John 3:28-30

"Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting.  And people came and said to him, "Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?  And Jesus said to them, "Can the wedding guests fast while the BRIDEGROOM is with them?  As long as they have the BRIDEGROOM with them, they cannot fast.  The days will come when the BRIDEGROOM is take away from them, and then they will fast in that day."  Mark 2:18-20

"Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready." Rev. 19:7

"The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come."  And let the one who hears "Come."  And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price."  Rev. 22:17

Definition of BRIDEGROOM

:  a man just married or about to be married

Jesus, You are the BRIDEGROOM and I am part of your church, the BRIDE.    You gave Your life for Your Bride, Your church.  One day, You will come again and we will experience the marriage of the BRIDEGROOM to His Bride, the church!   Your gift is free - it is the water of life without price to me - but it cost You Your life.  I worship You today as the BRIDEGROOM, who laid down His life for me! (What does it mean to you today that Jesus is coming again for His Bride?  Thank Him, praise Him and worship Him for being the BRIDEGROOM!)
