#21 - ETERNAL LIFE

""And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ.  He is the true God and ETERNAL LIFE."  1 John 5:20

Full Definition of ETERNAL

1 a  :  having infinite duration :  everlasting 

       : having no beginning and no end in time : lasting forever

 2  :  continued without intermission :  perpetual 

3 :  valid or existing at all times :  timeless 

Synonyms

ageless, continuing, dateless, enduring, abiding, everlasting, immortal, imperishable, lasting, ongoing, perennial, perpetual, timeless, undying

Jesus, You are ageless, dateless, enduring, everlastingly alive for eternity before this life and beyond this life.  You always have been - You always will be.  ETERNAL LIFE is not just a place  - it is You.  My mind can't comprehend it - but this is who You are.  You were here in the beginning (John 1:1-3) and You will exist forever and ever and ever (1 John 5:11).   You are the true God and ETERNAL LIFE!!! I bow before You Jesus - You are higher, You are greater than anything my mind can comprehend.  And yet, You, the maker of heaven and earth - who exists for all eternity - humbled Yourself and came into the world as a man to provide a way to God for me.  Oh Jesus, I worship You - You are ETERNAL LIFE!!
