#49 SINLESS

"And they made His grave with the wicked and with a rich man in His death, although He had done NO VIOLENCE, and there was NO DECEIT in His mouth."  Isaiah 53:9

"Pilate said to Him,  "What is truth?"  And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I find NO GUILT in Him."  John 18:38

"When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also was a disciple of Jesus.  He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.  Then Pilate ordered it to be given to him.  And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had cut in the rock.   And he rolled a great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away."  Matthew 27:57-60

 DEFINITION OF SINLESS

:  free from sin : impeccable 

Jesus, You were SINLESS!  Isaiah said You were completely innocent, both in deed (done no violence) and in word (there was no deceit in His mouth).  You were SINLESS!  You, who were sinless, became sin on my behalf!  Even though You were condemned as a criminal (with the wicked), You were buried in an expensive garden tomb belonging to a rich man.  Isaiah wrote these words hundreds of years before You were born!  You are the One Isaiah was pointing to as the Savior of the World!  I worship You Jesus!

Worship and praise Jesus - the One who was SINLESS!

(What sin do you struggle to overcome?  Jesus paid for that sin with His SINLESS life!)
