#75 FORGIVES

"But He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, for by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified."  He then says, "And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."  Now where there is FORGIVENESS of these things, there is no longer any offering for sin." Hebrews 10:12, 17-18

"And when they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.  But Jesus was saying, "Father, FORGIVE them; for they do not know what they are doing."  And they cast lots, dividing up His garment among themselves."  Luke 23:33-34

When Jesus therefore had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!"  And He bowed His head, and gave up His spirit."  John 19:30

"Yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach."  Colossians 1:22

DEFINITION OF FORGIVE

: to stop requiring payment of  :  to grant relief from payment of 

Jesus, You FORGIVE!!  This is the greatest news ever known!  You came to earth to be the sacrifice for my sins - in order to FORGIVE my sins.   I am not required to pay for my sins because of what You have done for me.   Since I have accepted what You have done for me, I stand holy and blameless before You!  Jesus, I bow in thankfulness to You - You are the One who FORGIVES!!

Worship and praise Jesus today - He FORGIVES!
