#46 MY SERVANT

"Behold, MY SERVANT, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights.  I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.  He will not cry out or raise His voice, nor make His voice heard in the street."  Isaiah 42:1-3

"Behold, MY SERVANT will prosper, He will be high and lifted up, and greatly exalted.  Just as many were astonished at you, My people, so His appearance was marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men."  Isaiah 52:13-14

"in order that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, might be fulfilled, saying, "Behold, MY SERVANT whom I have chosen; My Beloved in whom my soul is well-pleased; I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He shall proclaim justice to the Gentiles."  Matthew 12:18

: relating to or belonging to me : made or done by me : used to express affection for someone you are talking to

DEFINITION OF SERVANT

:  one that serves others

Jesus, You were God's SERVANT.  He called you "MY" to show His affection for You, His Son.  You had a very specific purpose to SERVE.   You would one day be "high and lifted up" - but this would happen after You were "marred more than any other man" through Your death by crucifixion.   Thank You Jesus - for loving me and dying for me!  I worship You Jesus, as MY SERVANT - the One Isaiah pointed to who would be the Savior of the World!

Worship and praise Jesus today - the SERVANT who would pay for our sin!
