#26 SUN AND SHIELD

"For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere.  I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.  For the Lord God is a SUN AND SHIELD; the Lord bestows favor and honor.  No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.  O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in You!"  Psalm 84:10-12

DEFINITION OF SUN

: the heat or light produced by the sun : sunshine or sunlight;  glory, splendor

DEFINITION OF SHIELD

: something that defends or protects someone or something

Jesus, You are a SUN AND SHIELD!  You are the LIGHT that shines with glory and splendor!  Your LIGHT is like that of a SUN AND SHIELD that defends and protects!!  The brilliancy of the sun cannot be overcome by darkness.  Every morning, when the light of the sun begins to shine into the dark night - the darkness is OVERCOME!!  Jesus, You are a SUN AND SHIELD for me!!!  Even the darkness of the world around me cannot overcome who You are!!!  I worship You my Jesus!!!

Worship and praise Jesus for being your SUN AND SHIELD!
