#48 LIFE

JESUS

#48  LIFE -  "Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many dwelling places, if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.  And you know the way where I am going.  Thomas said to Him, "Lord we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?"  Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the LIFE, no one comes to the Father, but through Me."  John 14:1-6

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.  I came that they may have LIFE and have it abundantly.”  John 10:10

Full Definition of LIFE

:  a vital or living being

Jesus, You are the LIFE.  You are where LIFE is found.  Vital, abundant LIFE.  It begins with You and will always be in You - even into eternal LIFE.   LIFE begins when we come to the Father through You.  Before I knew You, I was "dead in my trespasses and sins in which I once walked.." (Eph. 2:1)  But now You have given LIFE.  What does this mean to me?   It means that You have called me to a meaningful and full LIFE - not to a miserable, lifeless existence.  You have given rich, full, joyful meaning and purpose to anyone who has LIFE in You.   It means that I can tell others about LIFE that is only found in You.  Jesus, thank You for giving LIFE - rich, full, meaningful, abundant LIFE to those who know You!!!   I don't want to look for LIFE in anything other than You!  I worship You today, Jesus - You are the LIFE!!
