#49  LIGHT - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made.  In Him was life, and the life was the LIGHT of men. The LIGHT shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."    John 1:1-5

"The true LIGHT, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world." John 1:9

"Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the LIGHT of the world.  Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the LIGHT of life." John 8:12

Full Definition of LIGHT

a  :  something that makes vision possible    : the brightness produced by the sun, by fire, a lamp, etc.

Jesus, You are LIGHT.  You make vision possible.  You were born into this world to bring LIGHT and truth into the world.  Jesus, You shine in the darkness - and the darkness cannot overcome You!!  You are more powerful than darkness!!  Just like walking into a dark room and turning on a light - the LIGHT overcomes the darkness.  Jesus, even though I see darkness all around me - the brokenness of the world - You have come into the world to bring salvation.  You have come to be the sacrifice and solution to our darkness.  You are LIGHT - You allow me to see truth and You reveal truth.  You say that when I follow You, I will not walk in darkness - but will have the LIGHT of life.  Thank You Jesus for leading my way, revealing truth and breaking into the darkness!!   I worship You Jesus for being LIGHT!!!
