Jesus, You are the GREAT SHEPHERD. You are the grand and noble One who coaches, counsels, leads, mentors, guides and shows me the way. You are the One who tenderly cares for Your sheep, the people who belong to You. Jesus, You have been brought up from the dead! You are as alive today as when You were walking on the earth. You were brought up from the dead - and You live now to coach, counsel, lead, mentor and show me the way. You are the GREAT SHEPHERD - and my part as one of the sheep is simply to trust and follow You. I have heard that You were "brought back from the dead" so many times that it has no impact on me when I hear it again. But if I were to hear that one of the members of my family were "brought back from the dead" - I would be astounded!! I would be stunned!!! Jesus, help me to comprehend with my mind and heart what it means that You were "brought back from the dead"!! That You are no longer dead but are now alive!!! Your resurrection proves that You have conquered death and that I will also conquer death! Jesus, may I trust You today to lead and guide me - You are the GREAT SHEPHERD!!!
