#98 WAY

JESUS

#98  WAY -   "Let not your hearts be troubled.  Believe in God, believe also in Me.  In my Father's house are many rooms.  If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.  And you know the WAY to where I am going."  Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going.  How can we know the WAY?"  Jesus said to him, "I AM the WAY, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, except through Me."  John 14:6

Full Definition of WAY

 :  a thoroughfare for travel or transportation from place to place  :  an opening for passage :  the course traveled from one place to another :  route   :  a course leading in a direction or toward an objective

Jesus, You are the only WAY!  You are the course, the pathway, the door to God, the Father.   How can You say this?  Because this was WHY You came to earth!  Your one purpose was to die for my sins - to die in place of me and the world.  You knew Your entire life that You would be crucified for my sins and the sins of the world.  You died to prepare a WAY for me to live in eternity with the Father.  The only WAY that I can go to the Father is through believing what You,  Jesus, did for me on the cross.  You took my place - You redeemed me - You were lifted up so that I might believe in You and have a WAY to my Father!  ""And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will DRAW all men to Myself" John 12:32. This verse speaks of You on the cross, "drawing men" by Your LOVE.  You were the EXPECTED ONE, my DELIVERER, my REDEEMER, my RECONCILER, my PROPITIATION, my RANSOM, my MEDIATOR, my PASSOVER LAMB!!   Yes, Jesus, I believe in what You did for me on the cross - I believe that You are the only WAY to heaven!  Thank You Jesus for dying on the cross to pay for my sins, conquering death by rising from the grave and providing a WAY to spend eternity in heaven!  You alone are worthy of all my worship and all my life!!  You are the WAY!!
