#60 MESSENGER

"And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the MESSENGER of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,"  says the Lord of hosts."  Malachi 3:1b

"And while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said "Take, eat; this is My body"  And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying "Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins."  But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's house."  Matthew 26:26-29

DEFINITION OF MESSENGER

:  one who bears a message   :  forerunner, herald

Jesus, You are the MESSENGER of the Covenant.  On the night before You died, You broke the bread and poured the wine. You instructed the disciples to eat and drink to remember the new Covenant - Your body broken for us and Your blood poured out for the forgiveness of our sins. Malachi points to You as the MESSENGER of the Covenant!   Jesus, You are the One the scriptures were pointing to as the Savior of the World!!  I worship You Jesus - the MESSENGER of the new Covenant!

Worship and praise Jesus - the One who is the MESSENGER of the new Covenant!
