#13 DELIVERER

"For He will DELIVER the needy when he cries for help, the afflicted also, and him who has no helper."  Psalm 72:12

"For He DELIVERED us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." Col 1:13

"But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."  And again He stooped down, and wrote on the ground.  And when they heard it, they began to go out one by one, beginning with the older ones, and He was left alone, and the woman, where she had been, in the midst.  And straightening up, Jesus said to her, "Woman, where are they?  Did no one condemn you?"  And she said, "No one, Lord."  And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go your way.  From now on sin no more."  John 8:7-11

Oh Jesus, You are my DELIVERER!!!   You DELIVER the needy when they cry for help - and you DELIVER those who have no helper.  Jesus, You are the One who pursues and rescues!  When the woman was caught in adultery - You were her helper.  And yet You didn't leave her in her sin - but told her to go and sin no more.  You rescued her from herself.  Oh Jesus, how often You have DELIVERED me from what I thought would satisfy.  You have rescued me from running after things that would only destroy me.  Your ultimate purpose was to DELIVER me from the domain of darkness and transfer me to Your kingdom by providing forgiveness for my sins.  Thank You Jesus for being my DELIVERER!!  I worship and adore You today!!
