#15 STRENGTH

"Whom have I in heaven but Thee?  And besides Thee, I desire nothing on earth.  My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the STRENGTH of my life and my portion forever."  Psalm 73:25-26

"God is our refuge and STRENGTH, a very present help in trouble."  Psalm 46:1

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the STRENGTH of His might."  Ephesians 6:10

Definition of STRENGTH

: the ability to resist being moved or broken by a force : the quality that allows someone to deal with problems in a determined and effective way

Jesus, You are STRENGTH!  You are the STRENGTH of my life - and Your STRENGTH is present within me.  Jesus, You displayed the greatest STRENGTH when You faced death by crucifixion.  I have thought a lot about this.  When did You display Your greatest STRENGTH?  Was it in the Garden when You prayed - or when one of Your closest friends betrayed you? Was it  when You faced untrue and unfair trials - or when You were beaten and mocked? Was it when You were crucified - or when You forgave those who carried out the crucifixion? Was it when You were forsaken by God on the cross - or when You were raised from the dead?  You were not broken by the force of Your trials and crucifixion - You accomplished Your purpose!   No force could deter You from it!   You could have stopped it all at any time.  Your STRENGTH is beyond my comprehension!   You were determined to do God's will - to die for my sins.  My own strength may fail - but You, Jesus, are the STRENGTH of my life and my portion forever.  Thank You, Jesus, for giving Your life for mine!  I worship You my Jesus!!

(When do you think Jesus displayed His greatest STRENGTH?  Worship Him today - His STRENGTH is beyond our comprehension!!)#100dayswithjesus
