"All who see me MOCK me; they make mouths at me; they wag their heads; He trusts in the Lord; let Him deliver Him; let Him rescue Him, for He delights in Him!"  Psalm 22:7-8

"In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes and elders, were MOCKING Him, and saying "He saved others; He cannot save Himself.  He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we shall believe in Him.  He trusts in God; let Him deliver Him now, if He takes pleasure in Him; for He said, "I am the Son of God."  Matthew 27:41-43

Definition of MOCKED

: to laugh at or make fun of someone or something especially by copying an action or a way of behaving or speaking  : to criticize and laugh at someone or something for being bad, worthless, or unimportant  :  to treat with contempt or ridicule

Jesus, You were MOCKED with contempt and ridicule.  The people were MOCKING You - saying that You had saved others, why didn't You save Yourself?  But they didn't understand that what You were doing was SAVING THEM.  If You saved Yourself - the world would not have been reconciled to You.   Jesus, You CHOSE to stay on the cross - for me and for the ones who were MOCKING You.  Oh Jesus, thank You  - because of Your love for me - You endured MOCKERY and abuse on the cross!   I worship You, my Jesus!!

(Have you accepted this love that was given for you?  Worship and praise Him today - the One who was MOCKED for you!!)#100dayswithjesus
