#39 -IMAGE OF GOD - "In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the IMAGE OF GOD.  For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.  For God, who said, "let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:4-6

Jesus, You are the visual representation of God, the exact likeness of God.  You are the IMAGE OF GOD - the incarnation (the belief in Jesus Christ as both God and a human being).   Jesus, You revealed God by who You were, what You said and what You did.   Col. 1:13-14 says "For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.  And He is the IMAGE of the invisible God, the first born of all creation."  Those who knew You as You walked on earth, knew the Father.  You comforted Your disciples by telling them to believe in You in the same way that they believe in God.  "Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God; believe also in Me."  (John 14:1)  and in John 10:30 "I and the Father are one."  Thank You Jesus for coming to earth and allowing me to know the true and genuine character of God by "the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."  So beautiful!  Thank You Jesus for being the IMAGE OF GOD!!
