#56  LORD OF LORDS  "But flee from these things, you man of God; and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.  Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.  I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which He will bring about at the proper time - He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and LORD OF LORDS; who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen or can see.  To Him be honor and eternal dominion!  Amen. "  1 Timothy 6:15-16

Full Definition of LORD

: a person who has authority, control, or power over others : a master or ruler  : a title given to God or Jesus Christ

Jesus, You are the LORD OF LORDS!!  You are the One who has authority, control and power over all other lords!  You are the LORD OF LORDS!  You alone have immortality (unending existence) and You dwell in unapproachable (physically inaccessible) light.  You have eternal dominion - the absolute ownership of eternity.  You were born once in a manger - but You are coming again and will appear again at the proper time! When You come back, Your name will be seen -  "And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "King of Kings and LORD OF LORDS." Rev. 19:16.  Until then, Paul charges me to fight the good fight of faith.  He tells me to "flee" some things and to "pursue" others.  Jesus, it is so easy for me to be distracted by the things of this world - and not to continue looking for Your return!   Oh Jesus, when You return - may I be found to be fighting the good fight of faith - looking always to the coming of my Savior, the LORD OF LORDS!!  Jesus, I worship You - the LORD OF LORDS!!
