#57   MAJESTIC ONE  -  "But there, the MAJESTIC ONE, the Lord, shall be for us a place of rivers and wide canals, on which no boat with oars shall go, and on which no mighty ship shall pass."  Isaiah 33:21

Grand,  magnificent,  imposing,  stately,  majestic.  Grandiose means large and impressive. Grand adds to greatness of size the implications of handsomeness and dignity. Magnificent implies an impressive largeness proportionate to scale without sacrifice of dignity or good taste.  Imposing implies great size and dignity but especially stresses impressiveness.  Stately may suggest poised dignity, erectness of bearing, handsomeness of proportions, ceremonious deliberation of movement.  Majestic combines the implications of imposing and stately and usually adds a suggestion of solemn grandeur.  Grandiose implies a size or scope exceeding ordinary experience.  Jesus, You are the MAJESTIC ONE!!   There really are no words to accurately describe You!!   There is really no way to adequately picture You for who You are!   I long to see You as You are - but my view is so small and I am constantly distracted from looking at You by the things of this world.  Every time someone in the Bible comes into the reality of who You are, they FALL to their faces and down on their knees in awe.   You are the MAJESTIC ONE!  This is one of my favorite names for You - You are grand, magnificent,  imposing,  stately,  majestic,  grandiose - and yet humble, kind, compassionate, forgiving and loving.  My mind truly cannot grasp it.  Enlarge my mind and heart to see You as You are Lord Jesus!  I worship YOU with the small amount of knowledge that I have - but one day I will worship You fully when I see You face to face - in the reality of who You are!  You alone are worthy of all of my worship - Jesus, the MAJESTIC ONE!!
